Alfalfa 2nds

Kauffman Seeds has been in the alfalfa seed business for many years both providing seed, and custom cleaning alfalfa seed that growers bring in to us. We purchase most of the alfalfa seed that is cleaned and we sell it as VNS alfalfa or what some customers ask for as Kansas common alfalfa. Some also are still growing what they know is Kanza. The benefit of this type of alfalfa is that it comes from locally grown fields so the plants have been proven to handle our environment and the stresses that we have. While it may not be the highest yielding or the highest quality it is an affordable choice for a very durable and dependable crop for the regions environment.
